The process of scar healing is complex and involves multiple skin layers. Unlike other scar creams, InviCible contains ingredients that act on all skin layers. It improves the appearance and texture of scars more than any other cream. Find out how InviCible works here.
What is the best treatment for scars?
Obviously, everyone believes their product is the best treatment for scars. We want you to draw your own conclusions. Our website explains the science of scar healing and cites independent clinical studies. We hope you decide for yourself that InviCible is the best available scar product.
What is the best treatment for hyperpigmentation?
Dark scars, brown spots, melasma and other hyperpigmented skin lesions are difficult to fade or cover up, especially on the face. Hydroquinone is the best known treatment for dark spots and uneven skin tone but has fallen out of favor because of safety concerns. InviCible provides a safe, very effective alternative for dark skin blemishes and uneven skin tone.
How do I get rid of scars or dark spots?
Unfortunately, no treatment or therapy will completely get rid of scars or dark spots. The goal is to improve the skin’s appearance and texture as much as possible. Choosing the best treatment is only one important factor. A diet rich in vitamin C and minerals like copper and zinc is also important. Aerobic exercise also encourages healthy healing.
How should I care for my scar?
Keep fresh scars clean using a skin-friendly anti-bacterial soap. Cover the scar during the first few days of healing. Start your scar treatment of choice once the initial scar forms. Frequent scar massage encourages scar softening. Do not use topical vitamin E. Keep the scar out of the sun or use regular sun block for up to 2 years to prevent permanent redness.
Start InviCible scar treatment once the initial scar forms and any sutures are removed. Apply a thin film 2 – 3 times a day and massage it into the scar until the cream is absorbed. Keep scars out of the sun or covered with sun block to prevent permanent redness. Do not apply InviCible to open wounds.
How long will my bottle of InviCible last?
We cannot guarantee these durations, since everyone’s application will vary. However, we found that in many people the following guideline is accurate:
| Type of Scar | Usage | Renewal | |
![]() |
|
½ squeeze twice a day spot treatment | 60-90days |

|
1 full squeeze twice a day | 45-60days |

2 full squeezes twice a day | 21-45days |
Is InviCible a drug or a cosmetic?
The FDA (US Food and Drug Administration) defines the difference between cosmetics and drugs. Accordingly, InviCible is a cosmetic. Its purpose is “beautifying, promoting attractiveness, or altering the appearance” [FD&C Act, sec. 201(i)] of scars.
Will InviCible irritate my sensitive skin?
There have been no reports of skin irritation or allergy. InviCible is hypoallergenic, so skin irritation is very unlikely. You may however experience a stinging sensation that is a normal reaction to the vitamin C complex.
InviCible’s vitamin C complex can create a stinging sensation in most people. This is normal and means the cream is working. Any stinging stops quickly. Do not apply InviCible to open wounds.
Does InviCible work on all scars?
InviCible helps improve the appearance and texture of most problem scars, particularly those less than 2 years old. It especially helps improve scars which are prominent, raised, firm, hard or hyperpigmented. InviCible also helps fade other hyperpigmented skin blemishes like brown spots.
Is InviCible better than silicone sheeting?
Yes. Independent studies show silicone gel is as effective as silicone sheeting for improving scar appearance. InviCible contains the safest form of silicone gel (dimethicone), but also several other beneficial ingredients. Compare InviCible with silicone sheeting and other scar treatments.
InviCible’s formulation is sophisticated. It is difficult to stabilize hydrous and anhydrous forms of Vitamin C in creams. Creating a hypoallergenic cream without preservatives makes the process even more complex. InviCible is also the only scar treatment containing ProBiosyn-4™, an all-natural scar-minimizing complex. InviCible’s formulation required years of research and the highest quality ingredients.
Has InviCible been tested on animals?
No. Never has, never will.
Can I use InviCible after micro-dermabrasion, laser resurfacing or peels?
Yes. InviCible will help improve the cosmetic results and speed healing after these procedures.
Will InviCible get rid of pregnancy stretch marks?
No topical treatment will completely get rid of stretch marks. However, InviCible helps improve their dark appearance and can prevent new stretch marks from forming during pregnancy and significant weight-gain.
I have burn scars. Will InviCible help me?
Yes. InviCible helps improve the appearance of burn scars particularly if applied during the healing stage.
Will InviCible help facial scar healing?
Yes. It can also work very well for mild acne scars and brown spots.
Will InviCible stop my scar itching?
InviCible Scars may indeed help with the sensitivity and itching. However, if you are not trying to improve the appearance or texture of your scar, we recommend you consider trying a topical steroid preparation like 1% hydrocortisone cream first – this is more likely to decrease itching and is much less expensive.
Why doesn’t InviCible contain vitamin E?
Clinical studies show that topical vitamin E has NO effect, or even worsens scar appearance in up to 90% of users, and causes contact dermatitis in up to 33%.
Are there any undisclosed ingredients in InviCible?
No. InviCible contains two types of vitamin C (tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate and L-ascorbic acid), silicone (Dimethicone), and ProBiosyn-4. Nothing else. InviCible contains only safe ingredients that have been shown to improve scar healing.
Can I use InviCible on my children?
Yes, if they are over 2 years of age. However, the vitamin C complex may sting and be too uncomfortable for young children. We recommend you contact your child’s pediatrician prior to using any scar products on your child.
If you use InviCible as recommended, you should start to see results within 2-3 weeks.
Yes.
You may see a mild discoloration of white clothing after direct and prolonged contact with InviCible. One example is staining of a white bra worn repeatedly over breast augmentation scars.
Can I apply make-up or sun block over InviCible?
Yes. This is one of the benefits of a scar cream with silicone versus silicone sheeting. You can apply foundation, make-up or sun block over InviCible. Sun exposure can increase redness in recent scars, so we encourage the use of sun block.
